About

Three Monkey IT is one person, working locally, who would rather explain the problem than hide behind it.

Why three monkeys?

The three wise monkeys are supposed to see no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil. In IT that is exactly the wrong approach — problems get worse when nobody wants to look at them, listen to them or say out loud what has gone wrong.

So the name is a small joke at the industry it sits in. I would rather look at the awkward thing, listen to what you have already tried, and tell you plainly what is going on.

How I work

Plain English, always

If I use a word you have not met, I will explain it without being asked. Jargon is usually a way of avoiding a straight answer.

Honest about cost

You hear the price before the work starts. If replacing something is cheaper than repairing it, I will say so, even though it earns me less.

The same person each time

No ticket queue, no being handed on. I already know your setup, which means less time spent explaining it again.
